Sizarr – Boarding Time Remix EP
If you’re still to discover Sizarr, now is the time to get yourself acquainted. Three school friends from a small town in Europe, Sizarr release debut EP ‘Boarding Time‘ on 19th August through Four Music.
Already having played the likes of Melt!, Sonar Festival and scheduled to play the upcoming Berlin Festival, these boys have been tipped by Wonderland Magazine who called their ‘skeletal synths, post-punk rhythms and icy melancholic vocals… the sound of the city‘. This; despite coming from a town with nothing else to do but make music. And that’s just what these guys have done.
‘Boarding Time‘ reflects Sizarr’s skill in joining the dots between Bowie, Joy Division, Four Tet and Caribou, while playing with 80s synth heavy sounds and pounding drum-beats. And remixes from electronica’s hotly-tipped producers in the form of Anenon, Exeter and Yosi Horikawa take ‘Boarding Time‘ into new territory.
